Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all,
and infinitely more. To Tiny Tim, he was a second father. He
became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the
good old city knew. Some laughed to see the change in him. He let
them laugh, and gave them very little attention, and it was always
said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man
alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of all of us!
And so, as Tiny Tim observed…
God sent Jesus, His one and only son.
to be our precious savior to give us life above
He sent Jesus, to save us from our sins
to die on Calvary and return to us again
He sent Jesus the greatest gift of all on
Christmas.
Joy to the world. Joy to the world.
Joy to the world, the Lord has come.
Let earth receive her King.
Let ev’ry heart prepare him room
and heav'n and nature sing.
And heav'n and nature sing.
And heav'n and heaven and nature sing.
Here we come a caroling among the leaves so
green.
Here we come a wand'ring so fair to be seen.
Love and joy come to you and to you a carol
too.
And God bless you and grant you a happy new
year.
And God grant you a happy new year.
God sent Jesus, His one and on-ly Son.
to be our precious Savior to give us life
above.
He sent Jesus, to save us from our sins
to die on Calvary and return to us again.
He sent Jesus, the greatest gift of all on
Christmas.
